Woke up this morning after a 15 hours sleep with a breakfast. There's not much to do at 5 AM except browsing the web. Lucky that I did. A few months ago, Square Enix announced a reboot of the Lufia franchise. I got excited. My last Lufia was Lufia 2 and I was pretty satisfied with my Final Fantasy/Zelda mix. (That's how I call it).
Today, while eating a bowl of cereal, I founded myself looking at this.

At first look, it doesn't look exactly like Lufia...
First, no Turn-based battle. Wait, that's a good thing for turn-based haters that loves to nitpick these kinds of things.
One other thing is the puzzles. Lufia had something close to the Zelda formula. Find bow, use bow and figure out the puzzle. This game looks to focus on character abilities.
My only nitpick is when they said "gimmick" in the trailer. It's a pretty bold choice of words. At least, I think so...
Note* Oh, there's a more recent JRPG look too.
Anyway, is there a few nostalgic fans out there?
