When I was a senior in high school they showed us a video in my government class that sounded like something you'd show to a 1st grade social studies class.

"Remember, laws are to protect you!"

It made me want to punch my teacher in the face.

AT school we did the 60's in history. To get the feel of the 60's we watched a documentary about the beatles, that was actually made in the 60's. it started with some adverts from teh time and some quotes to get the feel of the time, the first of which was.
"The kitchen, the place where the woman spends most of her time"
The whole class was in histerics. Great history lesson that.

Incidently, Sorry for the derail, But can anyone remember the name of a film where the plot was they shrunk this guy down into a little ship & the scientists were going to put him in some VIP's body. In the end it went into some randomer instead, and then he was like...|Getting married or was a best man or something?

OT: Not much idea, If i come across anything ill let you know!
Do you mean [a href=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060397/]The Fantastic Voyage?[/a] the most copied idea ever?
Nahh...It was an early 90's film, just one guy in a pod.
It's called "Innerspace."

The only video I remember was this [a href=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=up863eQKGUI]little song about piracy[/a]

I was like 12 or 13 when they started playing that.

EVERY FREAKING YEAR.
How coincidental... a sequel to that is being released in THREE days.
Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for me?

I once watched a similar movie in a some class about American law. It was something about a new American president that got rid of "due process" or something, and this American family returns from a long, out-of-the-country vacation, only to see that everything is shitty. My teacher glared at me, because I was the only laughing at the ridiculousness.

Yeah, justice is good.

Damnit, phone up your school and get that movie!

The best movies we got to see in school were in science classes. We saw one about sex,and everything related to that. The teacher said 'Okay,I'm leaving the room.Give me two minutes, and then hit play on that tape.'It had a guy kissing a poster of britney spears.

Oh,and a video about the elements and compounds. It was done as if the elements were in this little society. So there was police, and nightclubs and stuff. At one point, two police were chasing a thief, which brought the infamous line 'You'll never catch me copper!'.Guess what element the police men were.
