I agree. I've never liked them.That_Which_Isnt said:I've never listened to them and always wrote them off as incredibly overrated like Queen, Beatles, Rolling Stones, etc. all of which I HAVE listened to.
*applauds* that was awesomeThe King of Rock and Roll said:Well...I have a whole lotta love for that band, seeing as they were one of the greats of rock & roll. Their time was gonna come, and it did, it left many music critics dazed and confused at the bands antics and attitude.
It left many a fan wondering how many more times would the band play. In fact, that band was what was and should never have been, they were bringing it on home and rambling on before most bands were out of their infancy. Their attitude, which was that of a heartbreaker, left many a living loving maid still loving them.
The black dog of the music industry so to speak, their music spoke in volumes to their friends and foes alike. The band had a musical quality of light and dark, and were in essence, immigrants to the music industry which had never before seen a levee of talent break like this. No matter who listens to them, the song will remain the same.
You failed to include Stairway to Heaven and Kashmir in there. -10 cool points. The King of Rock and Roll said:Well...I have a whole lotta love for that band, seeing as they were one of the greats of rock & roll. Rush is a band I can agree with, as well as Pink Floyd/Porcupine Tree same thing really.Gxas said:I agree. Rush was better.
To be fair to the guy, you couldn't very well say "They were so good they walked up to rock heaven in a stairway, and upon arriving were rewarded with cashmere sweaters" or something.oliveira8 said:You failed to include Stairway to Heaven and Kashmir in there. -10 cool points. The King of Rock and Roll said:Well...I have a whole lotta love for that band, seeing as they were one of the greats of rock & roll. agreed.A random person said:I'm going to get flamed to hell for this, but I thought the only good song by them was Stairway to Heaven. At the very least everything else on Led Zeppelin IV ranged from mediocre to bad.
