remove dad from fallout 3, zombies from any zombie game, gray wardens from dragon age, big daddys or little sisters from bioshock, that chick from half life and half life 2, general shepard from call of duty modern warfare, raiden from mortal combat and the list goes on.

Honestly, I'd love to remove Edward from Twilight.
Or rather, turn him into a "Garfield minus Garfield" style figment of Bella's imagination. That would make twilight actually interesting, as Bella dives further and further into insanity and her own head, deliberately pushing away everyone that wants to help her, eventually succumbing to her fantasies and finally becoming bedridden, a prisoner in her own mind.
And it would solve just about all of the hundreds of plot holes.

Vaan doesn't have many admirers for some reason.
I'd remove the super-cute and/or super-smart, little kid (think of Franklin from My wife and Kids, or Michelle from Full House) from every Sitcom ever created.
I would also remove Jango Fett from Attack of the Clones, that way Bobba Fett would go back to being one of the coolest, most bad-ass Star Wars characters rather than a 30-40 year old clone.

The talking spider tanks from the Ghost in the Shell series. I remeber watching a really intense scene about a guy that sets up a machine that forces girls to watch through his eyes as he skins them alive. and i'm like "holy shit this is insane" and then all the sudden one of the spider tanks appears and starts talking like a seaseme street character and completly ruins the atmosphere of the show.
I think Stand Alone Complex could do with out the random cutesy characters. its too series of a show. Now i'm not saying it can't have humor from time to time but theres a time and a place for it and a bunch of robots that sound and act like children tend to kill the mood of the more serious bits.
Imagine if your watching the scene from saving private ryan where the german is killing the one soldier with a knife. It's one of the most savage scenes in modern cenima. Now imagine that a perky pink haired girl in an SS uniform suddenly appears and starts cheering the german on and after he's killed the solider she says somthing like "wow willie your sooo strong"
It would ruin the scene! Much like the spider robots and many other overly cute characters ruin so many decent animes.
