Oh hey, long time and little see. I thought it already had died down, or at least that fewer and fewer reasonable people were really taking said moral panic seriously. There's probably been a spike in it due to the recent controversy, but I imagine that after that dies down, we'll return to seeing less and less moral panic than there has been.

I think people in 2050 will probably look back on all the outrage and be like "Ha, the past! Craplords!"

It'll never stop, it'll just change to something else. The media feeds on fear. It brings views and clicks.
Video games can be pretty depressing in some ways but open up the news, sit down with a notepad and for each story, ask "what are they trying to make me feel?".

It's a culture thing.
