Wow... That is a pleasant surprise.
I was kinda expecting to lose this contest (to Vaudevillan, actually), but that didn't stop me from trying my very best. I'm glad to see that my efforts paid off. ^_^
Congrats to Vaudevillan and Maet as well. You two both deserved to win for those excellent reviews. Vaudevillan, you did a very good job on that review, and it was very nice of you to let Maet get Deus Ex: Human Revolution. And Maet, I hope you enjoy that game as much as I did. :3
Good job to the other participants in this contest as well. I was impressed by pretty much all of the entries that I read, and none of them were poorly done. Everyone involved clearly put some real effort into their reviews, and that is something that deserves recognition. I wish all of you good luck the next time a contest like this is held. :3
Also, thanks much to Lost in the Void for throwing in the prize for this contest, which is probably the biggest reason why we saw so many quality reviews this month. Also, I give thanks to the five judges for taking their time to review and score everyone's entries.*

Wow, I'm actually quite surprised that my paltry little 400 word mess managed to snag third place. I thought for sure that I would've had to have whipped together something written specifically for the showcase even to be considered, so this is quite the shock. Nevertheless, I'm pleased to know that there's still a place for short, sweet, and succinct reviews somewhere out there.
I've already thanked VaudevillainVeteran for offering her prize to me, but I'll say it once more here: Thanks! Again, if there's anything at all you want from Steam, just let me know and consider it yours. It's just not right that second place comes with nothing when first and third do, so I hope this evens everything out.
