Removing Gamertags

Does anyone know how I can remove my xbox live and steam gamertags from my profile? Both just got hacked and I rather it didn't happen again.

Edit Profile Details, and just blank their fields. Voila.

I'm unable to do that. The fields are dark gray so I can't click on them. Also, when I make the update blank, it just gives and error that it can't find that tag and doesn't change anything.
