Well, I accidentally clicked on something whilst not entirely sober and now I'm heaped with shit. I seem to have two things- Webcake and Delta search, which I cannot get rid of with my meagre computer knowledge. How can I remove them?

Strangely enough I had to get rid of some adware the other day and it's not that difficult. Here are some guides on how to uninstall Webcake [http://forums.anvisoft.com/viewtopic-45-5333-0.html] and Delta Search [http://malwaretips.com/blogs/remove-delta-search/]. Basically it's just uninstalling an extension on the browser or through the control panel. Just followed the instructions and it should work.

I seem to have run into a problem- Webcake doesn't seem to appear on the program list. It's still on my computer (I found the files, but I can't delete them) and still doing something, it's just not installed on my browser anymore. Delta search doesn't seem to appear on the list either, although it's still active.

Well, the good news is that I think I've removed Webcake- it didn't appear on the program list, but I managed to delete the files after manually ending the process tree in Task Manager.

I think I figured out why they weren't appearing on the program list; Delta Toolbar shows up again now, but when I try to uninstall it, it tells me an error occurred and asks if I would like to hide it. I probably did that when I was a bit drunk.

I'll attempt one of those scans and see if I can remove it with that.

Update: All clear now. Thanks for helping out this goon.
