Demon's Souls. There are so many variables, and the New Game + options are excellent.

A game my friend made called Lonely World. It is an action adventure RPG thingy based on exploration. The world was absolutely massive and chock full of secrets. The main secrets were orbs, which come in 5 colors. Each color orb acts like exp for a certain skill. So the only way to level up is to find orbs. There are a total of 200,000 orbs in the game, and the new abilities are so fun to use that you keep coming back. You just really want to get the next spell or ability. I can't explain it, its just phenominally addictive. I checked the save file and it says that I've played it for over 170 hours.

Operation Flashpoint.

Huge single player campaigns, cooperative multiplayer with 30+ players, and a powerful mission editor that uses the same technology the developers used to make the campaign, and yet is simple enough to allow novices to whip up quick scenarios in no time. This game is so varied, even the in-engine cutscenes are slightly different every time.

Diablo Two.

With the loot system and the fact that every class may specialize in three differing paths, I can't stop myself from playing on any character for hours.

It's probably one of the most impressive games I've ever played.

Monster Hunter. I can play that game for hours on end without really 'accomplishing' anything. The same could be said for the Battlefield series (excluding bad company).

I'm starting to worry people will think i'm some sort of capcom rep what with all the blatant fanboyism I have for Monster Hunter.

I think Pokemon.

I've played that game from my childhood up to my current age.

Charizard is awesome.
At first I thought "Pffft, what is this guy on about. Pokemans has little replay value compared to some other games". Then I thought "Wait, all versions of pokemon are pretty much the same game. How many times have I played each version I have?", *numbers start ticking over in head*.

I must say Pokemon probably has more replay value than any other game I have ever played.

The Rise of Nations campaign come close but....I FUCKIN LOVE POKEMANS

Pretty much anything with a "New Game+" option (where you get to keep all your weapons and upgrades in a new game) is cool in my book. RE4, Dead Rising, and some FF games have this.

Highest replay value of all time though has to be Oblivion. I'll always find something new in Cyrodiil every time.
