So late last night a repo man shows up at my parent's house looking for my SUV. Since I move around quite a bit and have roomates I've always just had all my mail delivered to thier house, including my truck payment if it wasn't paperless. Anywho, my mom calls me up frantic. So I go on-line, knowing I'm a month late, just to find out my December payment was due on the 24th. So I guess they issued my repo on Christmas. Got to love heartless Bank of America.

And the saddest part is I have an auto-pay set up which pays it according to when I get paid. It pays it today though it might not go through till tomorrow. And this isn't the first time they've done stuff like this, just never this extreme (that I know of.) Would just get rid of the vehicle so I wouldn't have to deal with them, but I really need it for my son.

Anyways, I hope everyone else had an awesome Christmas or Holiday!

You don't get your car repo'd from 1 missed payment.

Time to put on your adult pants, and pay your pay bills in a timely way.

BTW, calling people who do their jobs 'heartless' isn't cool. If you did yours, and payed what you owe, you wouldn't have to worry about any repo.
Ummm... you would think not. A couple days late on the second payment making it two and repo. And all they would have had to do was look in thier system and see I'm set up with auto-pay. Yes I call the bank heartless for not even checking things out, not even trying to contact me, just sending a repo man. On Christmas! To me that's just cold.

Try paying way before the months deadline passes.
You already said you were 1 month behind so you missed the deadline again(so making it for the bank missing 2 payments).
Maybe prioritize your bills better.

Yeah I'm usually a month ahead on my bills but due to some bad luck (which I'd already talked to the bank about when it happened) I got stuck a month behind.

Not really a "poor me" thread but a "damn this pisses me off" thread.

Okay, after calling several times today and talking to three different individuals, no one has a clue why my vehicle was put on repossession. Every one of them said everything was cool. Went ahead and upped my auto-payments every month anyways. Sooner I'm through with them, the better. Like saving some money in the bank for emergencies though...
