Considering that the game itself will likely retail for $60 in the US, it kinda means you're picking up the console itself for around $299, which a lot of people seem to overlook.

Not particularly sold on the Zelda decals, but I'm sure they'll appeal to hardcore Zelda fans.
Which is why I'm mainly pissed because I paid $325 (taxes and shipping were in there) for a new Wii U Deluxe about a week ago, and then Nintendo announces this! I said in the other thread that no table shall be spared if it were true, and now my table-genocide shall begin! >.<

Hmm I'll need to see how limited this is going to be for potential resale value. If it's anything like the Zelda 3DS, you would be stupid not to pick it up.

Already happy with my Wii U, I think it's a great deal, especially if you love Zelda yet never got the chance to play Wind Waker. Nit the biggest fan of special consoles, even if the theme is Zelda, I prefer to keep the plain console look as that is how it will always be remembered as. So as a hardcore Zelda fan, I will pass, but I'm glad it exists for those who would appreciate the theme.

If they were to include both Wind Waker HD and Nintendo Land in the bundle at the same price, I think it would be an amazing deal that would be a bit harder to pass up on.

If it had been Skyward Sword HD, rather than Wind Waker, I'd have bought it. Not as a comment on the relative quality of the two games, I've just never played Skyward Sword and I want to get around to it some day.

It was the Zelda bundle with OoT and Majora's Mask that made me finally buy a Gamecube. Apparently I buy every other Nintendo console just to be Zelda boxes.
Nintendo's explanation for making Wind Waker HD was because it's the only Zelda game you can't play on either the Wii U, or 3DS. So it makes sense, yet I think Twilight Princess needs more of a touch up if anything, Wind Waker has aged incredibly well. Plus, if you buy Wii U, you can still play Skyward Sword since it plays Wii games.

I feel ya.
Do you know how sad/mad I am that I got a regular 3DS just to see that they fucking came out with the Pikachu 3DS XL not even a couple of months later?
Cruelty. Plain cruelty.

And fuck Japan for getting spoiled by all those XL skins. Fuck em.

As someone who bought a Wii U on release for $400, this is bullshit.

But I understand that it's necessary.
400$? You got ripped off somewhere, man. The WiiU has never, ever been 400$ (Officially). It's always been 299$ for the 8 gigs and 349$ for the 32 gig with NintendoLand.
Welcome to Australia!

Also, nice Grep avatar. I do approve.
Keep in mind, prices in North America are listed before tax not after tax.
