While the announcement of any new sequel is an exciting time, everyone has that paranoid thought in the back of their minds worrying how much the publisher is going to gimp them out of all their money. This fear was later to be proved right when supposed "Benevolent Bethesda" said that Fallout 4 was made explicitly for DLC.

TACO News was able to gain this information after an anonymous source from 4chan told us that an intern from IGN said that Todd Howard communicated to them in Morse Code during the Elder Scrolls Online launch party. While this reporter is still skeptical about the validity of these claims, I'm not opposed to running an article in order to get those sweet, delicious clicks

The mysterious man known as 4chan stated that there would two major waves; the first would be hundreds of minor DLC add-ons, ranging from personal cosmetics items to making all the human enemies look like the Hamburglar. This massive "first-strike" would be too corner the mod market and get some shekels dolla-dolla bills from the lazy. The second wave would be what recent fans of the series would be used to, a smaller story-based excursion into the unknown. Little is known of the actual stories as of yet but one person said online somewhere said they should do one where "It's like Adventure Time and My Little Pony!"

TACO News spoke to Game Director & Executive Producer Todd Howard in order to get confirmation but as of now, he has read our message and is probably ignoring it because this news team isn't on par with the "mainstream journalism sites."

Stay tuned for actual news about the game to be released when someone says something of actual importance.

I get the feeling paid mods will make a return with Fallout 4 (and, to be fair, makes more sense rather than forcing into into a relatively dead modding community that had been free/donation based for years).

If it does come back, I hope it's approached a bit better, as the Skyrim ones were largely trivial cosmetics that were quite buggy and broken. My main hope however is they don't massively restrict the games free modding community, to the point only paid mods work with the game (mod DRM sounds ridiculous, but is a very real possibility given the industry's track record the past few years).

See I'm so cynical and disheartened with the current Gen and AAA devs, I half believe that.
Like I know its not true, but if it did come true I wouldn't even bat an eye.

Odd, the rumors I heard was that Microsoft had gotten first dibs on the DLC, but then again those same people thought that Fallout 4 would be a Xbox One exclusive.

Don't give up hope yet, there's still time to get good and angry! ;D
