Report: New Details Emerge About "PlayStation 4.5"

I don't know why people are freaking out. Games may have enhanced features or something for the "4.5" but few if any are going to limit it to that cause...money. People are being silly about this.

I don't think it's fair to call it silly, especially considering nintendo just did the exact same thing with the 3ds. Also, Sony has a long track record of making terrible decisions with regards to supporting their hardware.

At this point I think it's more of a wait and see how the market reacts and what sony does to try to capitalize on it. It's just that recent history doesn't exactly give us much reason to be confident or trusting.

Will PSVR still run fine on the original PS4? They can say that they're not splitting up bases all they like I'm still pretty annoyed about all of this.

Can you let me know where you've seen that confirmed because I can't find it anywhere.most things I read say something about an enhanced PSVR experience and then move onto other desperate rationale for the PS 4K.

Exactly, Nintendo did the same thing, and how many games only work on the new 3DS? Not many, and all the big games still work on the normal one.

That is confirmed by PS4 specs. They are too weak to run a stable VR experience of any kind. If PS4 could support VR then they would have never made PS4.5
