Game was in HD already, you dummies who name things like this.
No it was not. The game rendered in 1152x640 on PS3 and in 1280x720 on Xbox 360, neither of which are HD which is 1920x1080.
Nope. 720p is high-definition. By loose definition (heyoo!), a lot of lower resolutions are too, but let's not get into that. Do yourself a favour and look it up. Preferably before you try to correct someone again with misinformation.
Maybe you confused HD with Full HD? That's about the only thing I can think of.
Incorrect. 720p is an inbetween definition between SD and HD that TV manufacturers advertised as "HD Ready" to confuse the buyers into thinking they are buying a HD television set so they could fix prices higher, something they only got caught doing a decade later by EU Comission. Sadly however their adveritsement campaign was sucesful in convincing people that 720p is considered HD despite not actually bein HD.
Full HD IS HD. hence why its called full. and 720 is not full HD, its part of the resolution, thus less than HD.

It's still running as great as it can without Rockstar actually fixing the game from scratch. The emulation is not at fault for Rockstar's original bugs and glitches, as all it does is run the game exactly the way it is programmed with all features and bugs included. I just played through RDR, and all the (many) bugs I encountered were original bugs from the 360 version. HOWEVER, the framerate manages to stay at a mostly consistent 30fps, something the original targeted but failed to meet in many situations.
So yes, the X1 runs the game as best as it can given the current constraints.
PS3: 20-25FPS sub720p --> 360: 25-30FPS 720p --> X1: 29-30FPS 720p +vsync)

While true does not really mean anything. Running as good as it does by emulating it does not say its running good, it just says they arent going to bother fixing it. But yes due to rockstar loosing the original code fixing it would require a lot of effort, hence why they never released it on other platforms. Im not saying that Emulator is at fault for Rockstar bugs, im saying that the game is notoriuosly buggy to the point of being unplayable when using an emulator. And no, its not the same bugs as the original Xbox 360 version, its far, far worse.
You do realize that at 29-30 fps vsync does absolutely nothing and is only useful when you run the game at framerate above your monitor/TV framerate, right? Why mention it when the game hardly reaches that framerate?
