Republic Commando- A good idea?

It was a blast, and last time I looked it was only $5 on steam, so it's worth it.

I'm pretty sure it's backwards-compatible on the Xbox 360 (if that's what you're going to get it for) - I have a copy myself, and I made sure it would work before I bought it.

I haven't actually played it yet, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I only rented it, but it was a great game. It was a shooter where the story interested me, but the ending is sad. Talking about makes me wish I had bought it instead of renting it.

I have a vague recollection of playing Republic Commando and I think it was fun, but I can't be too sure. Is it a good idea to get it? Because I'd rather not waste money again on a game I either can't play (due to backwards compatibility issues) or because it's a lump of crap.

So, a yes or a no? (I'm also picking up a copy of KotoR with it)

It's not backwards compatible on the xbox so that's probably not a good idea. You can find it for P.C. though.

I liked it but it had alot of sticky spots. And if i remember right, you never learn what happens to sev.(Am i remembering that right?)

Most of the plot including the ending is filled in by the Republic Commando books which are the basis for the games.

OT:I would say rent it, as it was a little short. You may have some difficulty finding a place to rent it, but I would say in that event it is good enough to make it worth dropping the $10 dollars it is on steam on it.

ABSOLUTELY YES!

although it's a bit old and short (you don't expect a long game for an FPS) the characters are cool, the ambiance is darker than any starwars movie, and the ending get's you wanting for some more!
