Requiem: Bloodymare

So. Anyone ever hear of this game? Go to www.playrequiem.com if you're interested.
It's a horror MMO. Looks AMAZING. I need a newer computer though if I plan on playing :S

I'm not so sure about other MMOs out there, but the ones I've seen don't have a ragdoll physics engine for death sequences. You can slice enemies apart and watch blood spatter.
Not to mention all the armor and weapons look pretty much badass.

The visuals in the surroundings are fairly nice, and in combat the ragdoll makes things visceral and pretty satisfying - every kill lops SOMETHING off, but in the end the nice visuals don't distract you from the fact that it is still point, click, wait style gameplay. The fact that it is free to play is pretty awesome, and I haven't spent too long (only around level 15) so perhaps the game picks up later on, but the gameplay is mediocre, so the only real attraction for low levels is what you mentioned - ragdoll and maiming...although, decapitating goblins and seeing their bodies twitch IS fun.

Haha yea. I believe it's still new? Only came out June 19 for North America.
Give it time and the gameplay will be enhanced I'm sure.

It is unusually demanding for an MMO, I guess its the physics combined with the intensity of the graphics - there is usually a lot going on at once.
