What do you think will happen if they decide to make a resident evil 4?

NOTE: I mean after what we saw in the last movie, they might as well make Alice Hitman and hunt down all the bosses of Umbrella.

It would be way too much work to film all those different Alices, so they'd split them up. They'd all aim for important objectives around the world, and the story follows the one that finds Wesker. Other than that, typical Hollywood stuff.

I don't really think of it as if it were I am legend because technically Alice is not alone on earth with Umbrellas monsters.

Time passes. One of the Alices will make freinds and find a clue of where Umbrella's main headquarters is, but she dies. She sends out a staticy message and the main Alice gets it. Alice teams up with freinds. Killing ensues. Hopefully every damn character won't die in one scene this time.

It will bomb at the box office on a level unseen save for Uwe Boll films. Anyone who has the bad luck/stupidity to see it will have their faces melted off ala Raiders of the Lost Ark. All copies of the movie reel will be buried in the desert next to the E.T. cases, and then the whole area will be nuked.

Oh, you mean in the plot of the movie? I dunno, Alice kills zombies/creepy bad guys. Then in an act of ultra clicheism (it's a word asshole), she cures humankind and the sacrifices herself in some huge explosion/bullet wound/however else people die in these horrible movies.

Pish. You know as well as I do that they will all die like rats before the movie is half-way over. I'm talking about the Alice that is still alive at the end. She dies. And no-one will care.

Well they can't have a happy ending that fits, so dying is a major possibility. But there are other ways, and who knows? Maybe it won't be bullshit. Maybe we didn't just describe the entire plot. Self-exile type endings like LOTR or ender's game work pretty well.It'd be really difficult to justify that many Alices dying, although I will concede quite a few at least will die. If they die it seems most likely they'd just start the movie at a later point in time and just say they're dead without saying why. Alice isn't the type to attack en mass, so they can't just explode all at once. I'm tired and I doubt I'm making sense, so I'll stop now.

I'd rather see an actual Resident Evil 4 based on the game RE4. It's a damn good game. Honestly, it's not the actual plot so much as the enemies, broad strokes, and atmosphere that made it good, so they could mix it up and ammend it however they wanted. There's fairly good characters, for a start. all they need is better dialogue.

Was RE:extinction any good? you guys sound rather enthusiastic about it.
