So I've been playing Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition on the PC recently and I've nticed that the graphics look.. well... awful
There is literally no dynamic lights, no shadows, the gamma and brightness levels has been way overblown and the lightning effects in the GameCube version looks better by a mile.
On top of that the textures look really low-res (still) and what bothers me the most is that the game looks.... brown... extremely well lit and just brown?!
Even though I set the brightness to zero it still looks like teh gamma correction has been way overblown and the entire enviroment is clearly visible instead of having teh gritty dark aesthetic the game had on the GameCube.
Is there something going on or is it just me?
It reminds me of the original RE4 release on PC years ago that looks even worse than the PS2 version.
