Sorry, but who the hell would want all that crap? The game is what I want.
^ This.

Oh no, it seems that all us silly old Europeans have gone and got ourselves in a right pickle by not being sold a ton of worthless, slightly nerdy crap.

Actually I don't even want the game.
Hey, hey, hey, lets not go crazy.
Since Capcom have now said it's only available on consoles, the game is now average at best in my eyes.

The only exception to that rule is Halo 3 and Little Big Planet.
You may have noticed the amount of console ports that are appearing.

I see in the near future a lot of pc gamers eating humble pie when console ports become the norm.

If the NA stuff comes with the PS3 format and the PS3 is Region Free...
Ido agree, though, Games companies fucking hate us. Strange considering we're their biggest market.

This reminds me of the theme song to Team America.
Score one for America.

We always get screwed over here. But i did get the fallout 3 special edition and it was the same price as just buying the game.

It says in the OP...

This is pretty annoying. I'm a huge fan of the Resident Evil series. And I could have seen myself buying the Collector's Edition, if it was what that Yanks got. But i'm not paying for it just so I can make my wallet look cool. (Not that it would. "hey, can i buy you a drink? Oh, whilst i'm getting my money out, perhaps you would like to look at this card?")
Well it didn't when I asked...

Anyway I'm a sucker for swag...So I may end up picking it up...Though I'd have to agree that it's not morally right for europeans to pay more and get less...It's not even like what you're getting could be justified as worth more, you know?

Agree there, even with customs charges the NA stuff would probably end up cheaper than the crappy EU one.

Okay I don't play Resident Evil, but WHAT?!

Another thing: Why didn't they put out the version of Bioshock with the figurine at launch here? That really pissed me off. We're getting screwed. They hate us... ;_;

Oh, if that topic title doesn't hit the nail right on the head I don't know what does. Honestly, I'd prefer the Japan bundle, I've been needing a new USB drive since the ones my school gave us were flimsy pieces of crap.

It really does annoy me when this happens to us Europeans. Japanese and even US special editions of games get some awesome stuff, which usually includes figures and art books. We get steel cases and different artwork in most cases. Sucks.

If it´s any consolation the standard packaging of european videogames is always better designed that their american counterpart.

I can't say I'm into figurines myself, and the messenger bag? No one (in American) who is at least someone insecure about their orientation (which as you all know is EVERYONE in America) would wear that.
You might be shortchanging your countrymen a bit there. My shoulder bag is handmade in the US. I imported one from there because it was superior to anything available locally. If these bags are not widely accepted and used in the US, why is the selection the best in the world?

My backpack is now relegated to "carry a lot of stuff" duty, like overnight trips, heavy grocery shopping or going on the shooting range. Shoulder bags are superior in ease of use for low amounts of stuff, and look way better.

Since Capcom have now said it's only available on consoles, the game is now average at best in my eyes.

The only exception to that rule is Halo 3 and Little Big Planet.
But their last console port of a resi game was god awful. Surely the resident evil series has always been a console series. That seems like a bizarre prejudice to have! Surely LBP would be better with a mouse and keyboard anyway.
It's the fact that I don't own a console, and therefore cannot buy it. I also have no intention of buying a console.

All Capcom need to do is put a little effort into making a good PC port. Then the game would be acceptable to me.

It's not so much a problem with the game, as I'm sure it'll be very good on consoles, it's just the fact that the developers don't bother to port it to the most popular gaming platform. It's the same reason I hate Treyarch and refuse to buy anything they make. Including Call of Duty: World at War.

But I'm just a cranky PC elitist.
Actually, it was Ubisoft that was responsible for the RE4 port. The DMC4 port was handled by Capcom themselves and the feedback so far has been very positive.

Also, RE4 was supposed to be a GC exclusive... I wouldn't really pay attention to what they have to say about "exclusivity" anymore.

Kinda funny calling them limited editions... as usual Europe gets screwed again

Well, when you order the limited edition, you open it and then...It explodes! Pretty fair considering what other games give us as "Limited editions".
Oh and uhh, it's a "Collector's Edition" not a "Limitied Edition".

Yeah, Europe gets screwed over all the time. Games are more expensive here, get released later (or never!), there are less special editions and other goodies.. it sucks.
Yeah, that makes me so FUCKIN' FURIOUS!
WHY THE FUCK do they keep doing it?! Urrrrrrrrgh.

Damnit. Now I just can't relax. I have to do something about this matter. Damnit. Damnit, damnit, damnit. FAWK!
Read the four reasons that have been put up above? Quite frankly, it's already been answered and when it comes down to it IT'S NOT A BIG ENOUGH DEAL TO GET WORKED UP OVER.
That coming from a Canadian. You can't possibly sympathize with me, or know what we are dealing here.

You guys only think of Europe as UK, which is a prick'ish thing to do, but UK has much lower prices on games, and lot bigger wages than the rest of Europe.
Dude, not all Canadians are like what you are describing... Now your doing quite a prick'ish thing...

No, I'm not talking about the fact that Canadians can't make a difference between UK and the rest of Europe, I'm just talking about the whole world (except Europe, obviously).
UK is in a fairly good situation right now, as they still have very low-priced games and big wages compared to the rest of Europe, especially Eastern Europe.

Oh and uhh, "prick'ish" is my word, m'kay?
