now this may not be very exciting for you people but to me i like this alot and it makes me glad i was holding out for a pc conversion. if you havent bought it yet are you going to buy it with this news? its also reported to have better graphics and more costumes but who cares about that stuff really? and im sure many of you hate this game as well for a specific reason if you do dont post simple as that its not the topic for you if you dont even like the game to begin with.

How is this even news? That's like saying Gears Of War 3 will have full standard controller support.

Fix up your grammar as well, I'm having a hard time understanding your post.

the last pc conversion of resident evil resident evil 4. was god awful and had no mouse support. it was just plain horrible but this time around its going to be different(i hope... im not buying until i see that they did it right) by this i mean they could make it much better and put in better controls. it has potential because of this is my point.

Oh, ok. That makes more sense. I apologize.

Lies. I got RE4 for PC and the mouse works. How else would you aim? Anyway, totally not news.
Is it? Ok, this calls for google. I'll be back later.

EDIT 2:
Back already. According to Wikipedia, mouse support was added by an unofficial patch.

The OP fails.

Huzzah! I will be able to aim again! Even though the RE4 did get an unoffical Mouse support patch, it still doesn't really work because it still aims like a console joystick (Gah I'm not saying this right) What I mean is that it only moves 8 ways so you might as well stick to using the keyboard to aim.

I was going to get it anyway and I actually prefered the mouse and keyboard when playing Dead Space and res5 plays in much the same way, I did use my 360 controller to play DMC4

The OP fails.
the mouse support was HORRIBLE jagged and too sensitive you couldnt hit the broadside of a barn if you wanted to. the graphics also were DOWNGRADED on the pc thats right they downgraded for pc users. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R875MrjNm4o look how often he goes over them how much he misses etc it was just a mess. and originally it didnt have mouse support it was later patched in but again it was just really really bad and the controls simply did not work well. it was like trying to wrestle a gorilla with your arms behind your back.

I'm still in the dark as to how an object that you are WEARING still manages to take up an inventory space.

you have your armor in a pocket of your armor it makes sense. fyi the reason its like that is capcom wanted them to not be upgrades. they were supposed to be sidegrades you buy them they reduce damage taken but you lose an inventory slot that way its not a pernament upgrade sorta thing. i honestly like it better that way.

It was patched. Both officially and mods.

Granted not including mouse support on a PC port was a massive boob, but it's been fixed.

yet if you had read on i would mention how bad the mouse support was(you couldnt run while aiming? wtf really it had so much potential there) and it was just the fact that if you wanted to hit someone they had to be next to you because capcom never heard of mouse smoothing and if your like me and your sensitivity is rather high you will have such a difficult time aiming you may as well knife the enemies to death. my definition of fixed is the problem has been solved with minor branching problems. so this wasnt fixed it was just kicked around.

That is part of Resident Evil not the PC port, you're a man not The Master Chief, you have to stand still to fire your guns. Ok in the cutscenes and QTE's he can get more than a bit Ninja, but in proper play you are just a fleshy weak human.
This has been a well known part of Resi since the first game, in 5 it's more or less unchanged. If it really bugs you that much I you should play a different series.

I wholeheartedly suggest an unofficial patch to you then.

As for the graphics, all the ports are downgraded, apparently the Gamecube had a somewhat unique way of rendering. It produced some gorgeous games but was difficult to replicate on other platforms.

That's like saying you can carry 5 items on your person. If you're wearing a shirt, you have 4 left, and so on. It makes absolutely no sense, seeing as how something that you are wearing, woulden't occupy your pockets.

it doesnt make sense i know i was being sarcastic im just saying its so the vests are sidegrades :p. and ive tried the unofficial patches and those were OK. and i dont see why you cant slowly walk while aiming... i mean really do you have any issues with pointing a gun and moving at the same time? i think most humans can do that. its just really something that should be implemented because you are so so SO vurnable while you aim and other res games have done it(outbreak file #2) and found it to be alot more intuitive. think of it this way if your moving you can dodge yet aiming is much more difficult assuming the reticule bounces with your movement. its something that really should be there considering it would work PERFECTLY with a keyboard and mouse.
