If it doesn't, I'll be pretty dissapointed. It was both a great addition to the game mechanics, and freakin' hilarious! I love that guy... it probably won't be the same guy, but still.

I've checked a few different sites and none can agree if the merchants will be in RE-5 or not. It would make sense if they were included however. Keep your fingers crossed.

This topic of conversation came up between my friends and i. We've all agreed that we'd like to see either the old merchant back again, mainly for his sheer comic awesomeness.
Or we'd like to see a Bob Marley-esque merchant.

I'd be all for the merchant coming back. He added a nice element to the game. Had a very mysterious, spectral vibe.

I have checked he wont be in and im disappoitent because I am on the first playthrough of resident evil 4 on wii and i LOVE the merchant and his comments about the magmu, the rpg and the mine thrower. He will be missed severly. Though I am not 100 percent sure

I'm one of the folks that thinks there were multiple MoD. If you look, sometimes his eyes glow like an infected, but sometimes they don't, implying that the MoD is actually several people.

Number 4 was quite easy for weapons and ammo, unlike the originals.
