Here you go folks! The new trailer for Resident Evil 6! Containing actual fucking shambling ZOMBIES!!!!

Looks as though we'll be switching between Chris and Leon as the game progresses, as well as playing as some new guy who's apparently special for some reason. Some of the mosters seem to look like a Las Plagas job too.

So what do you guys think? Excited? Think it looks shite?

Well, looks like they're still abandoning the "survival-horror" aspect of the series but I'm not surprised at this point. I'm not complaining, I quite enjoyed Resident Evil 5 (apart from the inventory and the partner AI) and trailer picked up my interests so depending on how the reviews go this might be one I'll pick up

Ok,

So I have mixed feelings about this:

1) Leon's side of the game = AWESOME! Zombies (actual, not las plagas kind), similar to Raccoon City (Survival horror AT LAST) and looks generally awesome.

2) Chris' side of the game = Didn't Gears of War 3 JUST come out? Oh...wait...that horrifically misproportionate individual isn't Marcus Fenix...but there ARE a whole slew of chest high walls and explosions...

I'm confused.

Pretty sure this exact same topic was already made (and is currently on the 2nd page of the Gaming Discussion forum), but what the hell, I'll post my response here as well.

Good god...really? F'in really? Can anyone say "jumped the shark"? You've already killed Wesker who, directly or indirectly, has been the central antagonist throughout the series. Umbrella's dead, Tri-Cel is dead, THEY'RE ALL DEAD! How can there be another one?!

I mean come on people...the RE series had a decent little run with a few mis-steps, but I think it's time we commemorate this series to the halls of gaming history.

I must admit, I'm starting to wonder when Rebecca will be brought back. I like her.

Good to see Michael Bay is back as Project lead.

Been saying it for a while, you don't need flesh eaters to make it a resident evil game. You just need less explosions.

It seems that third of the game is with leon, in the stealthy horror type gameplay.Chris is going for the action/shooter parts, and unknown dude is going for a fighting game?

Seems strange..interesting on how it will play out.

I am super excited for this. Except of course about Ashley. Garbage character... but oh well. A game with both Chris and Leon, Ada as well. And Im excited about this new character. ;3 Curious if there will be a special edition pack
