Of the ones that I've played I like RE4 for the pacing and atmosphere. RE2 for the blend of horror and action. Revalations 2 cuz it somewhat got back to it's roots,with puzzle and suspenseful moments. RE1 for the campy script and tense moments, RE3 had Nemesis but other than that was forgetful.RE5 was ok eventhough it wasn't scary. RE6 was shit played through it once,havent touch it since it came out.

I haven't kept up with the later titles in the series but from Re2 onwards, loved the series.
Re3: Nemesis being my overall favorite I think.
Re4 I liked but honestly I did not enjoy the shift to action as much as others and whilst I'm a big scaredy cat in horror games, Re4 didn't do much for me in that department.
Re5 was fun for its coop mode and I'll always be grateful to it for that at least.
I quite like Operation Raccoon City too but well, that one didn't do so hot xP
