Resident Evil Plot Hole Perhaps??

Well, I watched the intro movie to RESI 3 and it didn't make sense!!

How come a s**tload of cops, etc with large powerful guns spraying thousands of bullets can't take down a few zombies, but when Jill comes in with her lil' pistol, few shots to the chest, boom, done,dead, BANG and the dirt is gone (sorry..).

It just doesn't make sense..

Resi 4 was a good game, specially on the wii, but my favorite will always be number 2.

While we're on the subject, did nobody else notice the Zombie Barry killed in Resi1 took THREE Colt Python rounds? That's more than the bloody HUNTERS take to kill!

yeah. it takes ONE for the head... but it only ever takes a couple of 9mm's to the chest to bring most of them down..

Its a different viewpoint of Resi. I know when people think of Resi, you think of Zombies caused by virus, but that is not all it can be about. I mean, was the X-files all about aliens? no there were side stories, other paths, other stories. Resi can have other stories, does it make it a bad game? no it doesnt, it makes it unique. it makes it great.

Xfiles is very different. xfiles is tv show. ok sure itll take different paths, sure. but it doesnt go "omg.. so thereIS aliens" one ep then go "omfg.. cows CAN talk!?" in the other.

Its not that resident evil is taking a new approach. nor having a new story. It's like those films you get that are just there as a filler for time for the next installment of x movie: the return of x notactuallydeadkiller.

Resident Evil's never had a particularly good or compelling story. I play it to watch zombies go boom, that's...about all there is to it.

I believe they used the la plagos parasites for the T-virus or something. But then again, it's called resident evil. not Racoon city or T-virus Chronicles or something.
And as for de movies... They suck, don't make sense. If they took different characters and all I would've liked it better.
I hated the part in RE 2 where the nemesis turns emotional. I like him when he was a big lumbering killing thing.
