Against my better judgement I came home from work today with a nice fresh copy of resistance 2. While I still don't think the first game was anything super-special I'm willing to admit that the co-op play, complete with revivals and unique character models, made the seemingly stodgy single-player campaign into something that resembled fun.
Anyway I digress. I picked up the second game today and intend to play it with my girlfriend's kid when he gets home from school today. One thing is bothering me though. It says in the manual I can play through a 'unique co-op experience' which is kind of worrying because while I apreciate good (if stolen wholesale from team fortress 2) original co-op missions I was really looking forward to playing the regular campaign co-op.
So does the regular campaign allow two players to play through it in a similar manner to the first?
Edit: Waiting for the kid to finish the first game before we start the first. That's why I haven't played it yet.
