You hope. I loved the first game, but how many games have been a disappointment on some level with the PS3? GTA, MGS, SC4. None have blown me away like I'd hoped. The only game that makes the PS3 worth having is WARHAWK.Treblaine post=9.70637.697822 said:

Its pretty, but I haven't played it so I won't form an opinion and if you form one and haven't played it you are an idiot because making a pretty game is easy nowadays. Also, what makes you think it's a Halo rip off? Halo has one of the most unorginal stories ever. Resistance has one of the most ORIGINAL and best stories. It's by insomniac so it should be brilliant and makes me ponder if I should spend a million pounds and buy a PS3.
Resistance is one of only two games I have on the PS3, and to be honest, I didn't really want to get it, but my girlfriend wanted it so I got that instead of Uncharted. Frankly, I'm damn glad we did, as I love alternate history and all that jazz, so I'm going to be picking up R2 just to get further into that world. And as shooters go, I felt it was very solid. The mechanics were good, it was technically sound, the weapons were awesome, and a lot of the battles were quite spectacular in scope. I'll try out the multiplayer again this time around, but I found it just too much like Halo to be enjoyable for me. I'm glad they're moving away from the hilariously tacked on co-op storyline, which just added some guy who conveniently dissapeared for cutscenes of any kind.

Okay this is the last time I will say this on any forum what was the freaking problem with the first Resistance. How could you be bored with Chimera advancing on you from all sides, mines jumping out of the ground, bombs dropping all around you, crawlers coming out of nowhere, Menials biting you, enemies shooting through walls at you and fighting massive enemies during a fire fight? Are you a person or a brick? Because only a brick would go through all of this and then say I'm bored.
