Respawn Releases an Awfully Blurry Teaser Image

We think we can make out a farmhouse. Or maybe it's a dinosaur.

We don't know much about whatever project is in the works at Respawn Entertainment - the new studio formed from the core of Call of Duty creators Infinity Ward after the little kerfuffle [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/98761-Rumor-Security-Locks-Down-Infinity-Ward-Ousts-Studio-Head-UPDATE] that saw founders Vince Zampella and Jason West ousted.

We do know that one of the artists that it's a sci-fi shooter [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/110457-Respawn-Hires-Star-Wars-Monkey-Island-Artist-for-Its-New-Game] that will compete with the likes of Halo and Gears of War, but other than that? Nada.

Respawn launched its here [http://www.respawn.com]), said image is also heavily blurred, making it nigh-impossible to decipher.

The sky looks stormy, and there's a (dilapidated?) building on the left side of the screen, but other than that I haven't a clue what's in here. I want to say the structure in the middle right is a barn or farm storage house replete with chimney/smokestack, but it could be a factory. Or maybe that giant chimney-looking-thing is actually the neck of a dinosaur.

This picture gives more questions than answers, but personally? I'm rooting for the dinosaur.

That may be an oil refinery. After all there are several towers. The one on the left may be an office building.

BattleField: 2143 possibly? Please? (The picture reminds me of 2142 and they might do what they did for 1943)

Wow, for a moment there i though i forgot to put on my glasses /ba-dum-tsh!
Seriously, that's quite a blurry image.
Still, I'd love to know what's it all about.

building on left is slanted -possible damaged/ destroyed?

color on main building and low wall seem to indicate a brick wall

looks like smoke stacks or electrical towers -with that much lush green? I usually only see such things in secret facilities or sci-fi

Calling it now, generic gritty sci fi shooter filter grained up the ass. With dinosaurs. Or Loch Ness monsters.

Try looking at it from far away while squinting.

It helps when looking at blury and pixelated images.

I did it, and I can make out trees, and a generally nature based area.

The center thing apears to be a building, not the neck of a dinosaur.

It's a documentary on how to recognize different trees from far away.

No, obiviously it is the Loch Ness Monster!
The Loch Ness Monster is a dinosaur, fool!

Also I don't know what it is, and at the moment I don't care. This is what we know about the game so far:

1. It's a Sci-Fi shooter

2. Judging by the picture, it is dreary and uses washed-out colours

What is there to be excited about?

New Turok game maybe? That fits the bill, and I'm pretty sure that thing is a dinosaur.

I see laziness and misconceptions about what the industry and its consumers expect, with a bit of Executive Meddling thrown in. I think I can just barely make out negative reviews, stock price drops, and net losses as well.
