I starting up on Photoshop again and I was wondering if anyone would review my pictures.

The first one is OK, but I can clearly see the cut. Nice try though.

As for the second one, I don't get the joke. I think its alright.

The second one is not supposed to be a joke, it just me standing over a chaos altar, with a quote to the side. I used the old text bar from Runescape One.
