So just about 10 min. ago I just got back from the Local All you can eat Sushi bar, being a Tuesday night, Naturally the place was barely seated. so I spent the night with my mother (so Generous to pay) talking it up with the sushi chefs, and the owner while watching the laker game on TV, now these guys know me by face due to my frequent visits to the Sushi bar, and they have such a great attitude, and will frequently cook up random little things for me to try as their personal bits of specialty.

anyways what I am getting at is "do you have this type of Relationship with any eatery around you? if so discuss!"

I have a friend who frequents the Jack In The Box and Burger King restaurants by his house so often that they know him by name and voice, and will sometimes give the two of us complimentary extras with our food. It's pretty sweet.

This middle-aged woman at the Taco Bell I go to for lunch has my meal done before I'm finished ordering it.

#7, Chicken, Soft Shell, Root Beer.

Mmmmm...

I get this. I go to the same places a lot, some of them give me extra food or different stuff to try just for the hell of it. It's cool.

They don't really like me.

Well I know most of the people at my local McDonalds through friendships that were in place before the place opened.

And when I lived in California, there was this bagel place that we knew the owner of, great establishment, living there was almost worth it for the bagels alone.

Actually, I'm pretty good friends with the lunch lady at my school, strangely enough. My class usually gets out a few minutes before everyone else, so I'll just chat with her. Even though I don't get free food or anything, some neat little perks come along with being friends with the lunch lady.

the Tim Horton's i used to go into took a couple months to remember my coffee but they always would, funny part is i'm about the only person who always came in with a refill mug, so i was actually a special order

i don't really go into restaurants all that often to get that type of treatment. tho i used to go to one every christmas with friends and the guy would remember my order from the previous year, i was truly amazed at that

A Joey's Only seafood joint at a mall, been going there sporadically for the past... God damn, going on five years now.

Two piece with a Coke.

Then there's the other place where... well we don't have so much of a relationship per se, as they remember me as the guy who went nuts with their chocolate fountain.
oh please go on...

I now work at the local mexican resturant near my house, I was offered the job as my parents (who have been regulars for years) were complaining about my old job to the owner. We used to get little bits here and there for free.

Buffalo Wild Wings here on Tuesday. It's the same crowd every week there for the cheap wings and the waiters and bartenders know us by names and bring us our drinks without even asking. Gotta love watching a game there.

I used to have this with the waitresses at a lounge that had an improv show I went to every week. Since I moved out of my parents' place I lost my access to a car, so I haven't been going as often.

Now I have this relationship with the employees of the university's campus pub.

I have this Thai restaurant that I've been going to for a few years now. The servers always go out of their way to be friendly, and they don't charge me when I ask for an extra small bowl of rice, which is cool cause their rice is freaking awesome.

My dad loves the local sushi restaurant that is usually always packed and is also the mayor of the town so he naturally knows a lot of people. However he is on a first name basis with practically all the servers and the owners of the restaurant. Every once in a while when the owner has something special in the kitchen that is not on the menu he will give it to my dad to try because it is generally better than anything on the menu. Its not every time he goes because he is there like 5 days a week but pretty regularly happens.

Not yet, but I'm working on it. There's this café run by a French guy that I visit quite often. Only one with an outdoor smoking area. Gotta love the French. Fell in love with the place when I heard Fionn Regan playing on the stereo. Now I give him CDs.

I thought you meant something else by the title.

Anyway, the nearby Subway restaurant might qualify for this. I have gone there so many times and the manager is so used to me stopping by that I can get multiple scoops of avocado for free now. It's sad I know, but I don't think I have much PR skills with restaurants or frequent them enough to get someone to butter my parsnips for me especially.
