I recently finished playing Star Wars: Dark Forces, which is basically a Star Wars version of Doom. That's pretty retro.

And some roms; I intend to play Majora's Mask for the first time pretty soon.

Well, once a year, usually during summer, I like to play through nostalgic games like Fallout 2, and bring out my N64 to play classics like Rogue Squadron, Zelda, Mario Kart and Star Fox. I have an SNES emulator, but it's nothing compared to the real thing.

Pokemon Snap here and there with friends and Civilization Revolution. Both are still pretty fun when your bored.

Transformers for the PS2. Probably the best transformers game.
That's the one made by Atari, yeah?
IF SO:
It's tied, for me, with WFC. Both are fantastic games.

Heh, I remember Hexen as well... Used to have that and Doom hidden on my old school's network when I was in the 6th form.

And for me, retro is pre-consoles. So I still have my Amiga 500 hooked up in the spare room. It contains such delights as Dungeon Master, XCom UFO Enemy Unknown, Cadaver, Speedball 2, Heimdall, Lure of the Temptress, Magic Pockets, Chaos Engine, Rainbow Islands, Gods, Ishar, Simon the Sorcerer, Secret of Monkey Island, Eye of the Beholder, Ultima V, Populous 2...

Having said this, I do still have all my old consoles and games too, I've never sold on or traded in a single one. What if I wanted to play them again? And I do. All the Final Fantasy series gets trotted out regularly, as does Wild Arms or Xenogears. Yeah, I'm an RPG kind of gal.

Oh, and I also found and download Secret of Mana for my iPad. That's all kinds of awesome.

I do a run of Doom 3 and it's expansion at least once a year.

Fucking love it, despite the hate it gets.

Well, I played King's Quest 3 literally today. And I have a bunch of older games on the shelf next to me. (Fallouts, Civilizations, Broken Swords, King's Quests, Space Quests, Police Quests...)

Also, I'm currently in the middle of my first playthrough of Planescape Torment, and I'm looking for a physical copy of the original X-Com (CD or diskette, doesn't matter).

I'll play pretty much anything that was considered good when it came out (and is available on PC). I can enjoy old games as they are. Low-resolution graphics and clunky interfaces don't bother me as long as the game's otherwise good.

Doom, Half-Life, Thief, Hitman, Mortal Kombat, Duke Nukem 3D, TES Arena, Original Pokemon with bulbasaur, squirtle and whatnot. And of course, ET for the Atari.

I'm kidding, I don't have the original Hitman

Err... Not sure if most of these count but some games I've been playing recently (Because I got bored of newer games, there is too much brown and they're all too similar for me at the moment, I also cannot afford any more games):

Warcraft 3
Black and White 2
Neverwinter Nights
Final Fantasy X + Final Fantasy IX (I would have played through VIII aswell if I could find a copy in any of the stores I go to)
Drakenguard
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness
Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time + Wind Waker (I <3 the gold edition I got for the Gamecube that included both, so I don't have to dig out my N64 as my TV has ran out of room since it currently has a PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and a computer plugged into it...)
Hogs of War
Road Rash
Shadow Hearts Covenent
SSX Tricky
SSX 3
Dirge of Cerberus

... I was just off for 2 and a half months for summer break and all my friends were working, just before anyone starts judging me >.>

Also a side note: My right hand is is agony after playing most of those games for 30-40 hours each...

Thief.
Duck Hunt.
Super Mario Bros.
Final Fantasy I
Grim Fandango
Prince of Persia (The original from '89)
Paper Mario (Thousand Year Door as well, but that's hardly "retro")
Would Rome: Total War count? If so, that.

Edit: Forgot Ocarina of Time, somehow.
Plus, just for fun, my GC Games will be included:
Pikmin
Wind Waker
Metroid Prime
PoP: Sands of Time

You beat that game?! Geez, and I thought I did really well just getting to "Be Prepared".
TLG = easy, compared to the freaking Death Star 2 levels of Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.

I would be playing "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past" if I knew where the scart for the SNES was. That is legit the only thing I cannot find to enable me to play it! Mind you, Zelda's probably the only game on the SNES that I could play; I was always terrible "Donkey Kong Country" and "Super Mario Bros." like I am with most platformers. Which is, unintentionally, actually the bulk of all the new(ish) games I play.

I would be playing "Nightmare Creatures" on PC but one, I haven't the foggiest as to where it is and two, I doubt the computer will be able to play it (it was hilarious on the XP though; it was as if someone was leaning on a fast forward button!) which is the same reason I haven't yet tried installing "Sam & Max: Hit the Road" onto the Windows Vista as an Escapist friend has already been unsuccessful in doing so.

Installation problems would also count towards "Day of the Tentacle"... if it wasn't broken. Growing up in a big family full of gamers; things tend to get broken. It was devastating. I remember my mother slowly raising it to my eye level, revealing the crack that almost split the disc in half, going, "...look", almost a tremble in her voice. I think I near cried. I always loved that game. Except whenever I got stuck in "Maniac Mansion" on the care taker's computer. I could never figure out how to get out of it and the nurse terrified me! If my memory serves me correctly, I swear she said she was going to eat me but I honestly can't remember. Lmao!

Last but not least, I need to see if I can find any PS1 memory cards in Cash Converters to play the many, many, many PS1 games I have. Notably "DigimonWorld" and "Rugrats: Reptar's Revenge" (or was it "Return of Reptar"?)
