I dug out my N64 and PS1 (or PSX) the other day and I'm thinking about getting some games for them both. What do you think I should get?

Goldeneye for N64. Also, if you can get it cheap (and I mean, very cheap), My friend and I played Pokemon Snap a few months ago (we're both in college) and though it only took us a few hours to beat, we got some strange kind of enjoyment out of it. Star Wars: Dark Forces, Spyro, and Crash Bandicoot for PS1

Own Goldeneye, its a frigging classic and I still rate it amongst the best shooters ever. Rented Snap once and i got some weird enjoyment out of it too. Thanks for your advice.

I find a lot of N64 and PS1 games have dated quite badly unfortunately, even though I still bust mine out every so often. Anyways

N64: Banko-Kazooie, Mario 64, Star Wars Pod Racer, Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong 64, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Jet Force Gemini.

PS1: Any of the Final Fantasy series, Metal Gear Solid 1, Street Fighter Alpha 3, MediEval, Alundra, Dino Crisis and Resi Evil series, Silent Hill and Vagrant Story.

I would say try to get your hands on Final Fantasy 9 for the PS1, it is my personal favorite.

Old games are really fun to go back and play, every once in a while. I suggest the following;
N64: Banjo Kazooie 1+2, Mario 64, Lylat Wars, Donkey Kong, any Zelda game, Pokemon Snap, and Conkers Bad Fur Day.
PS1: All the Spyros, Crash Team Racing, Crash Bandicoot, Final Fantasy.
All very good games.

Thanks for all your advice, I understand why Spyro and Crash are so popular; they kicked ass! I think Gateway to Glimmer, YOFD, CTR and Crash 3 will do for PS1, and Banjo for N64.

South Park 64 is obligatory.
If you're looking to prove that the world is a terrible place filled with nothing but evil.

N64: Banjo-Tooie, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Paper Mario, Goldeneye007, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Rocket: Robot on Wheels, and Diddy Kong Racing.

PS1: Twisted Metal 2, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Tekken 3, Final Fantasy 9, and Final Fantasy Tactics.

If you don't mind dropping some serious cash, pick up Klonoa: Door to Phantomile, probably the greatest platformer ever.
