Okay so tonight I found out that my friends lied to me.
We had made plans at the start of summer to head up to Kerry(a part of Ireland). Our plans got cancled when my friends grandad died over there, alright that's okay, sorry for your loss and all that.
Then I hear his girlfriend went up, okay, don't see why she can go up but we can't, but that's not my decision. Then last Sunday or whatever, my friend alan says e's working all week to help pay for his debs(prom). Okay lame, no one to hang out with, my two other friends being in different parts of the country with family.
Just now, my friend's girlfriend(the one who went to Kerry), tells me that they have all gone up to Kerry, without me and didn't tell me.
Riiiight.
What should I do?

Not get revenge, unless of course, you're an asshole.

Just confront your "friends" and laugh at their feeble explainations.
Hmmm, feeble excuses do amuse me...
And I'm not an asshole as far as I know.

Your Irish. Just mail them a letter packed full of explosives and nails. The point will be made.

I wouldn't get revenge. Just confront them when you see them and ask as to why they didn't tell you.

So he'd rather hang out with his girlfriend than you, if I'm understanding that correctly? Isn't there an unspoken understanding between male friends that if it comes down to a choice between the friend and the girl, the girl always wins?

Wait till they go to sleep, put laxatives in their water supplies, break the only toilet and then lock them from the outside...

No the girl first, I accepted that, that was cool with me.
It's that my other friends lied to me saying they were away/working, but were acctually going up there without me.

Lemme find my revenge thread and I'll get some excellent answers for you.

Here is my list:

Upperdecker them.
Take the keys to their cars and freeze them into a solid chunk of ice in the freezer and leave it in the front seat of their cars some morning before work.
Tell them lying is immature and then give them a heartfelt frown and say you expected better from them. Keep eye contact at all time.
Craigslist posts with phone numbers.
Demagnetize all their credit cards.
Put a dead fish on the engine of their cars, they won't be able to find the smell for a while.

Those are all the safe for work ones. PM me for a much better list.

I wouldn't try to get Revenge but, i wouldn't let it slide.
Confront them about it and let them know how it made you feel.
If they don't care then you may need to re-evaluate your Friendships IMO.

That's the unspoken understanding between male friends that are too immature to accept the fact that they're not always the center of attention.

OT: Just talk it out with them.

As opposed to the spoken one of "Bros before hos?"

Exactly. When was this overturned? Although judging by the pathetic attempts of several of my friends, it's the world's most broken code of honour.

If you've ever watched Oldboy, considering the revenge plot in that movie. If you haven't watched Oldboy, go watch Oldboy. Now.

In all seriousness, just confront them about it. Some elaborate revenge plan will just be silly.
The only thing I
know from Old boy is beating them with a hammer. I must watch that.

Man that is cold on your "friends" behalf. If I was in your situation I'd probably get all self conscious about why they went without me and try to find out why, but I'm slightly neurotic, so don't do that. Just chillax, be the nicest friend ever and make them feel really guilty.
