Revenging your execution in Skyrim?

Basically, the only thing holding me back from picking either Empire or Stormcloaks side with in Skyrim is my desire to murder the Imperial Captain who ordered my execution at the beginning of the game. The Stormcloaks seem like a bunch of overzealous racist douchebags, but that's still not quite as bad as trying to have my head severed. If I could just find that one Imperial, I could deliver swift justice and forgive the Empire entirely. Do you ever meet this character again?

If not, who else would have LOVED to get revenge on him/her? Why not? How would you do it?

I'm pretty sure he died in the dragon attack, but don't quote me on that.

I'm guessing she died at Helgen, but I'd love get revenge on her if she didn't. I joined the Imperials immediately after visiting Windhelm. The Stormcloaks are a bunch of xenophobic douchebags.

Irony at its highrst form: get the melee perk that upgrades standing power attacks, then chop her head off with an axe.

Go with Ralof at the beginning. Then just forget about Empire and Stormcloaks.

I don't think the Stormcloaks are worse than the Empire. To me, they both sort of sucked so I just decided to stay out of it. If nothing else, I shall slaughter both sides and crown myself High King. Damn, I wish that was an option.

Actually, if you choose to follow Ralof at the start, the first thing you do with him is ambush the very person that you hate so much.

And she's a redguard, not an Imperial.

I think that if you go with Ralof at the beginning you ambush and kill her and another imperial for the keys. It seemed to be a woman with imperial heavy armour. Either way it looked like her so she got the business end of my LIGHTNING POWER!.

i'm sure if bethesda would have implemented that , the ruling part of the game would have been better than FableIII's excuse for the king part

As others have stated, you do indeed kill her. If you follow the Stormcloak not the Imperial into the keep. They ambush you, and you have to loot the key off her body to continue on. You cannot go without killing her. I hadn't noticed this myself, until I went back to the beginning on my 3rd character.

She's wearing the uniform, she's an imperial. I don't discriminate based on race. I discriminate based on politics.

As for revenge... I took my concerns straight to the top.

And no, I don't mean General Tallius--well okay him too.

I didn't know that you could even go with the Stormcloak in the beginning. I was playing my on girlfriends rediculously tiny TV, and I just followed the first quest marker I saw, going with the Imperial. Thanks for the info. I was wondering why the "Join Stormcloak" option hasn't appeared yet.

I'm going to restart my file and murk the shit out that *****.

EDIT (to avoid double-post):

Did you join Stormcloak? And is Tallius essential (unkillable)?
