Almost like taking wildlife photos in real life!! Minus the bugs, heat, nasty tents, and problems with being attacked by bandits and/or soldiers. Also, the player character looks....smexy. In a scientist kind of way.
A Tiger? In Africa?Mariena said:Susan Arendt now knows the answer to the question, "Where can you see lions?"
So do I! Kenya. Lions and tigers only in Kenya.
well... to be fair, in a real safari they do have their ponds and areas of living, i know animals dont always stay there but for what i have watched in Discovery Channel, when hunting for pictures or videos, the guides take them to the places where they usually hang outSusan Arendt said:as opposed to searching blindly all over the various map locations.
Ok, that...was absolutely hilarious.ColdStorage said:regarding your meerkat photo Susan, maybe you should go to comparethemeerkats.com, where we compare meerkats!

Sorry couldn't help it.
Anyway, I shall be buying this game, purely on the basis that its different and having a few hours to burn why not spend that time on a different sort of game.

sorry, I'm on a thread regarding the must chilled out game ever (possibly) and i'm acting like i've got ADHD, so can you die in the game?.
Also watching the review supplement I get the distinct feeling of "its not quite right" its like the uncanny valley biting me in the face, seeing that cheetah take down that springbok didn't feel right to me.

The animation in the actual game is, bizarrely enough, actually better than the cinemas, like the cheetah taking down the impala. (Or was it a gazelle? Anyway.) The animals move far more realistically in the regular course of the game than they do during those "dramatic moment" cutscenes.
except in the video supplement it looked like that elephant was going to kick your ass.Susan Arendt said:Review: Afrika
It's like Pokemon Snap, but with fewer snorlaxes and more elephants.
