Wonder who is next. Christopher lee perhaps.

Condolences towards the family, he will surely be missed.
Christopher Lee is too badass for Death.

Actually, without joking, by how active he is at his age, I can easily see him become to oldest active male actor, and figuratively he does intend to die on stage, as he often say that acting is his life and that he as no intention of retiring. Not that he got much competition left:

- Kirk Douglas, Spartacus;
- Eli Wallach, one of Mr. Freeze actor in Adam West Batman, died, at 98, back in June;
- Carl Reiner;
- Louis Jourdan, the French Christopher Lee, so more suave as fuck instead of badass, compared to Lee, he played Dracula, also a James Bond main antagonist, Kamal Khan, in Octopussy, which movie oddly enough share a Bond girl actress, Maud Adam, with The Man with the Golden Gun, but retired in 90s, so don't think he can be considered active;
- and Norman Lloyd, who is currently the oldest living male actor, at 99.

A sad day it becomes when an actor who is truly good at what he does dies.
But maybe...maybe we can preserve the body somehow, mix his DNA with a toad's and create clones of them. We could do this with all the celebrities who've recently died. We can put them in some sort of theme park.
There is no way this will end in the death of multiple people and the park shutting down before it opens. I guarantee that Wayne Knight will not die there.

Unlike Robin death, his was somewhat not suprising per say (90 is an old age to be at). Still what sadden me was that his daughter and granddaugher were killed during the India tsuami (I only just learned that from today news on his death).

Anyway I will always remember him for his role in Jurassic Park and I really should check out the other films he was in during his youth.

To the geek community, Attenborough will be perhaps best remembered for his role as John Hammond from the iconic dinosaur thriller,
This is true and it makes me very sad as a movie geek.

NO,NO,NO,NO! Christopher lee is going to live forever, or at least he will once I've completed the ritual.

OT: Rest in peace Mr. Attenborough. It's sad that you're gone, but I'm happy you got so many years full of life; we should all be so lucky.

I like to imagine that Death attempted to take Christopher Lee back in WWII, but he ambushed that punk ***** just like he did with so many Nazis, and after being so thoroughly thrashed and threatened with more, Death has been afraid to make a repeat attempt at him ever since. That, and based on how good a shape Christopher Lee maintains, unless he's hiding some condition, he'll be around for quite some time. If Death ever does take the man, it'll only be because he LET himself be taken, because he was bored dominating life on this plane and wanted to conquer somewhere new.

This was a man in tune with the world, and it is a crying shame to see him pass ;(
You're both thinking of the naturalist Sir David Attenborough, Richard's brother. He's still alive.
I have to admit when I first saw the thread title I was like DAVID ATTENBOROUGH IS DEAD NO. Then I read again and was like 'Oh ok'.

Good gods don't tempt the fates, we need Christopher Lee to fight off the evil ones with his voice and music... surely we will be overwhelmed by the faceless nameless non-entities if he were to fall.

OT: While it is sad, 90 is a solid number to go out on and he had such a great career and life. Condolences and well wishes to the family, thanks to him for such great works. RIP sir.
