I found this game on a French flash game site. It's got to be one of the most assinying (that how you spell it?), of course that's if you put it next to the infamous I Wanna Be The Guy. Well I looked it up on Youtube and a lot of people knew about it and loved it. I looked it up and apparently it was one of those old games, for instance you could play it on the Commodore 64. Now personally I hate the game to Hell. It's cheap and is supposed to be parody of Indiana Jones. All fine and dandy, but it doesn't parody as much as rip it off. Or at least that's the vibe I get from it. Back to the game being cheap, the game will some times disobey already set up rules, so the only way you can play is through trail-and-error. Wait there's a problem there too, you can only take one hit before dying and you only get 6 lives before you need to start the whole game over.
Admittedly I'm only the first level, but why make the first level so hard! Either way let me finish up here by saying this. I've heard a lot of people on Youtube say they loved the game, it's charming, it's clever and so on. So I'm asking if you Escpaists, if you like this game and why. Maybe I'm just an overcritical being that needs about 16 gallons of guts on the floor before he can be amused but it doesn't mean I'm just going to look at it quickly and then say it sucks. So what the hell do you think people!

It might be useful if you could put a link to the flash game up for our gaming pleasure. Please.

Suffice to say, back in the day of the Commodore 64, things were a lot more experimental. The balance in Rick Dangerous is one such experiment.

I played a lot of C-64 games, especially back in the day it was my primary computer, but I never played this one. I seem to recall Rick Dangerous had a little pet that followed him around in a sidescrolling adventure.

Lets see if YouTube can refresh our memories:

Hmm, no, I must be thinking of another game. Mine was more Sci-Fi.

For the record Rick Dangerous 2 was about Rick killing Space Aliens.

I loved Rick Dangerous and Rick Dangerous 2.

I played the hell out of them back in the Amiga days. Thanks for the link.

It's funny how much of the 'trial and error' I still remember from years back.
