I have many things to say.
I turn from white to yellow and then to dust.
I was once something's coat.
I am able to talk to you.
I am not alive.

What am I?

Might have been done before but:
You are in a dark room, and you have with you one match. There are three stoves: a wood stove, a gas stove, and a coal stove. Which do you light first?

The wood one? seems like any one of them is the right answer

The moon?
No, keep trying
Darkness: often held to be synonymous with evil and thus fights against good, rules the night sky. Watched words imply deception or lies by omission, something regarded dark behaviour, which are the opposite of truth again referring to the duel between good and evil.

Did I get it right?

I got the impression that "fighter of good was fighting for good, rather than against, but everything there checks out.

Might be my lacking skills in English, but I thought that 'fighter of' means fighting against it. Otherwise should not the words 'fighter for' be used instead?

EDIT: anyways, a new riddle:

A cloud was my mother,
the wind is my father,
my son is the cool stream,
and my daughter is the fruit of the land.
A rainbow is my bed,
the earth my final resting place,
and I'm the nuisance of man.

Yes you did!
Yay! That was a hard one, possibly the hardest riddle I've seen in years. Really took my nogging some hard thinking.

Anyways yes, the answer to my riddle was rain as guessed.
