Darkness: often held to be synonymous with evil and thus fights against good, rules the night sky. Watched words imply deception or lies by omission, something regarded dark behaviour, which are the opposite of truth again referring to the duel between good and evil.
I got the impression that "fighter of good was fighting for good, rather than against, but everything there checks out.
Might be my lacking skills in English, but I thought that 'fighter of' means fighting against it. Otherwise should not the words 'fighter for' be used instead?

EDIT: anyways, a new riddle:

A cloud was my mother,
the wind is my father,
my son is the cool stream,
and my daughter is the fruit of the land.
A rainbow is my bed,
the earth my final resting place,
and I'm the nuisance of man.
my guess rain

I'm often found in crosswords and other puzzles too.

Confuse 'a ragman', and the riddle's solved for you.

ok, marathon here. dont try and look up the answers pls, chances are u should know it anyway

1.
What has roots as nobody sees,
Up, Up, Up it goes,
And yet it never grows

2.
Thirty white horses on a red hill,
First they champ,
Then they stamp,
Then they stand still

3.
Voiceless it cries,
Wingless flutters,
Toothless bites,
Mouthless mutters.

4.
An eye in a blue face,
Saw an eye in a green face.
"That eye is like to this eye"
Said the first eye,
"But in low place,
Not in high place"

5.
It cannot be seen, Cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, Cannot be smelt.
It lies behind stars and under hills,
And empty holes it fills,
It comes first, and follows after,
Ends life, kills laughter.

6.
Alive without breath,
Cold without death,
Never thirsty, ever drinking,
All in mail never clinking.

7.
This thing all devours:
Bird, seed, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats high mountains down.

If you have heard these before, don't say anything. I mean come on, its not like these are from a book...

[EASY] How much dirt is in a perfect five by five foot hole

[MEDIUM] There are 52 bicycles in the room, along with a round table. Under the table is a dead man, why did he die.

[EASY] How do you get 4 gallons of water with a 3 and 5 gallon jug

[HARD] There are 3 lightswitches down stairs and 3 upstairs. You want to figure out which lightswitch goes to each bulb. There is an elevator connecting the room but you can only use it once. How do you find the correct switches and the correct bulbs.

I will give one internet cookie to the person who can answer all 4 of these

there is no dirt in a hole. Silly man! haha
as for the lighswitch one. You turn one on for 10 mins, then turn it off and turn two on. go upstairs and see if two is on, if its not, check one to see if its warm. If its warm then its one, two if its on. Three if none of the above is true

1. Nothing, it is a hole.

2. the knights had to buy bycicals because their tax rebate wasnt as much as they excpected, and they all came to arthur to kill him because of the rediculous tax hike.

3. fill up 5 gallons, pour into the 3 gallon, put the 2 gallons into the weing station or wateva. rince and repeat once more.

4. has been done before, turn on 1 for a while, turn it off, turn 2 on. go into the room. switch 2 is the one with the light on, switch 1 is the one with the warm globe.

Hey, it's ya pal Sketch here, to lay somethin heavy on ya, just cuz you got eyes, doesn't mean you always see.....you gotta get the whole picture before you really know whats goin down....dont belive me? ....okay that's enough of that, cookie for refrance.

Here's mine:

A man is lying dead on the floor, with a knife in his back, next to a pool of water. The room he died in has no windows, and the door was locked from the inside. The only other object in the room is a chair. The placement of the knife is such that he couldn't have reached there to stab him self.
How did he die?
(obviously the knife killed him but how did it happen?)

he fell off the chair and landed on the knife? the water could be ice holding the knife up.

Alright, another of me riddles. I really like this one but it's better suited for actual conservation.

Three guests check into a hotel room. The clerk says the bill is $30, so each guest pays $10. Later the clerk realizes the bill should only be $25. To rectify this, he gives the bellhop $5 to return to the guests. On the way to the room, the bellhop realizes that he cannot divide the money equally. As the guests didn?t know the total of the revised bill, the bellhop decides to just give each guest $1 and keep $2 for himself.

Now that each of the guests have been given $1 back, each has paid $9, bringing the total paid to $27. The bellhop has $2. If the guests originally handed over $30, what happened to the remaining $1?
Giving them the $3 brings the paid total to $27, and the bellhop has the other $2 required to bring the total paid to $25.
It was just a matter of remembering where to add and subtract.
