Recently, in one of my college classes, our teacher turned 30 so we had a relaxed lesson that ended in playing a game on the board. My girlfriend and I were on one team with two other teams. Anyway, due to over-competitiveness, my girlfriend was a bit annoyed and just wanted to leave but then made a move that extended the game further and since our teacher didn't want us to leave until the game ended.

The result was that a bloke, ex-army, discharged on account of injury, started saying how stupid it was. When the lesson ended, and my girlfriend had left the room, I said to him, "Would you kindly keep your ****** little comments to yourself, you little ****?" and he immediately got angry and aggressive but I walked away to comfort my girlfriend with this person yelling down the hall that I was a "self-righteous ****"

I feel I did what was right and I stand by it, especially since the majority of the class thinks what I did was right and now they will stand up to him despite the fact that he could beat the living day lights out of all of us. I felt proud of what I did

What I want to know is, have you ever had a moment where you were unsure of the morality of an action but then felt you did the right thing? Have you ever been in a situation like myself?

And did it make you feel proud of yourself?
