The conclusion I've drawn in the end is that Time forgets EVERYONE just as surely as death takes them. A person's status, deserving or otherwise, simply broadens the numbers and duration of rememberance in their passing, but it's all equal in the end. Who will mourn any of us long after the sun winks out and the human race is dead?
The brighter side to strive for - the "justice of worth" if you will - is in that a persons death is felt and their worth appreciated by those who were important to them, personally, in life. A huge base of unfamiliar fans has nothing on that.
