Road Rash Video Needs to Turn Into a Game Right Now

I've never even heard of Road Rash and this looks fucking brilliant.

I remember Road Rash on the PC, oh, that was a fucking hell of a game.
I like this! And hell, the mockup has an almost "Mirrors' Edge" visual style going for it. Haha.
I wanted to see someone side kicking a passing cyclist off a cliff... but no.

That game also singlehandedly got me into Soundgarden, when I was about 5.

You sir, are my twin in this. I love Soundgarden, and every time I hear Rusty Cage I can just feel myself zipping down a road, baseball bat in hand. This video is beyond awesome, and though it is a mockup, I know they could make a game with the same texture and feel. God I could feel the speed in that one. My N64 Road Rash will now feel like old-balls after this.

That, Superunknown and Kickstand. The only songs I had ever used on the menu screens. The rest was poor in comparison. Forgot about the band until about 5 years ago, and found Superunknown in HMV for £8.
I bought it, and listen to it as much as possible, it's amazing. <3

I just hear "ALIVE IN THE SUPERUNKNOWN!" and picture kicking someone in front of an oncoming sedan.

Is it just me, or does this seem like a poor example of "news"?

While I can sort of understand the decision to place a few articles in the feed about cool things like living rooms inside of PC's and Big Daddy replica costumes, a 2 and a 1/2 year old "mock animation" of a game that doesn't exist that the writer thinks should be made just seems a little... well, not-newsworthy to me.

Don't get me wrong, just seeing how awesome this is made my mind shut down for a full 5 minutes, but I really do think this is more in line for something to be put in the forums.

I want this... I want this a lot. I remember racing a friend in this in Mono e mano races. Nothing like bashing another person's head in at top speed.

I have never played the original, but I want this. I spent far too long in GTA Vice City riding motorcycles causing mayhem. This looks far better. I wouldn't really want a story, since I do not think it would add anything, just a big city or area filled with stuff to crash into or hurt. Or both.

Road Rash 3, on the mega drive (genesis for some) was classic. Just classic.

It's been said before, the News Room can be used for whatever the editors think is interesting.

X-treme or X-treme 2? Yeah, those were fun.

I think it had Luge and rollerblades as well, was a less speedy version of Road Rash in my opinion.

Oh dear I want Road Rash again, it was pure awesome.
You got to punch police men, steal their billy club and then beat them off thier own bike with it. You could kick other racers into passing cars. It was awesome in everyway

This has need to be remade for years. There are so many fans that would probably snap this up (if it wasn't like the abysmal Jailbreak) straight away. What's there not to like; insane speed, weird characters, a sprinkling of violence and a killer soundtrack.

Dear EA, if you are truly done being evil and stupid, prove it by making this game. right now. I have money and I know you like that. Also get a kickass soundtrack again.

This is what 'white rooming' is all about kids. Gotta see if the environment is fun before they make it look good.

I would love to see this as a downloadable game. It would get my money for sure.

Expect to hear something about this within about six months from now I reckon.
