Just came across this...
http://edition.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/asiapcf/06/23/japan.baby.robot.population/index.html?hpt=C1&fbid=LJ3gOBS2rYp
Ok, I heard that Japan had a population problem but is it enough of a crisis to warrant this?
My opinion on this is that Japan seems to have a certain affinity with robotics over other forms of contact with other living beings. In no way is that meant to offend or belittle the Japanese, it's simply what I see as an outsider.
What are your opinions on this, Escpaists? Necessary to encourage a population reboot or simply another gimmicky scare story? Or another complete different angle altogether?
