Robotech Academy Blasts Onto Kickstarter

Well, the sentiments echoed in this thread seems to be fairly widespread. With 6 days to go the kickstarter had gotten less than half the amount they had set as their goal, and then Harmony Gold cancelled it.
They're saying they have a plan B, but the kickstarter at the very least was a massive failure, and not because people don't like Robotech. The general tone, even on the kickstarter comments page was that yes, people would like to see Robotech return, but that Harmony Gold, the company, could kindly go fornicate with themselves because people absolutely loathe them.
Gee... Who knew being lawsuit happy douchebags would be bad PR? Surprise, right?
