So, I'm thinking I should probably try Borderlands out now.

That picture is hilarious.

Gah! I've only got the Zombie Island Of Dr Ned, and they're about to release more?! I really need to get General Knoxx. Not sure if I'll bother with Mad Moxxi's yet...

iirc, the crazy girl from whom you sold the vault key to worked for Hyperion, and the angel was actually a Hyperion satellite.

so the angel was to make you give the key to hyperion.

Besides the manipulation, what conflict did we have with hyperion?

No! Why??? Why make a DLC centred around the most annoying character(s) in all of gaming history??? Jesus!
QFT

What the hell do you think you're doing?

Oh well, General Knoxx was an amazing DLC so maybe this one will be too... Please?

I didnt think borderlands could keep me playing but I just might have to pick this up no.
I always wondered what they were going to do with that whole interplanitary ninja assassain thing.

Does this mean that I finally get to kill off that annoying piece of CENSORED?!

That you will be maming with the most powerful weapons in your arsenal. Its like a DLC for Zelda where you kill an army of Navi.

I'm pretty happy with this because

I hate claptraps
We now get to kill claptraps
It wraps up the claptrap thing nicely so there's a chance they wont be in the sequel

Maybe i'm getting my hopes up. Either way, while I found that the original borderlands had solid game mechanics, it fell down in level design and writing (with a few small exceptions). The latest DLC was absolutely hillarious and really improved on all those areas. I'm *very* interested to see what they can do with borderlands 2 now that they have a bit more money and a semi-reliable fan base to sell it to.

Cool man. I thought General Knoxx was going to be the last one. Definitely getting this at some point in the near future.

"Past Differences with Hyperion?"

Dude...in the original game and all 3 previous DLC, Hyperion *never* screws you over. They make the turrets that the Crimsom Lance use, but that is pretty much it- they make the New-U station, so they are literally the only reason you can keep coming back from the dead, canonically speaking.

Yes, you will be able to. I have done this on my other characters. After beating the game with Roland- which I did after I installed the packs- I was a still able to play them. There should be no problems, I have done it myself on my newer characters. My first character was Mordecai.

Some people think that the Guardian Angel from Hyperion may have been manipulating the player to get what she wanted. We still don't know her motives, but she's owned by Hyperion, and I have yet to see an honest weapon company on Pandora.
Jakobs? THE POWER OF WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD[/quote]

the Jakobs corp didn't evacuate people off the island when the zombie outbreak happened.

although honest weapons company? i'd have to say Maliwan so far, atlas is full of pricks, apparently hyperion is evil now and finally jakobs.

First off - Welcome to the Escapist. So long as you don't piss us off you'll do fine.

Now to answer your question... After you finish the campaign you can wander around and do nothing (or DLC packs..), or reload your game for the second playthrough when even those puny starting monsters over by Fyrestone are level 34+.. Don't worry about finishing the campaign first.
