There's a boatload of songs in there that are awesome too. Looking forward to playing some Mastodon also. Though I'd have preferred something off Leviathan. Iron Tusk maybe, or I am Ahab.

Still, a good range of songs on there, something foreveryone!

Alas...still no Stairway

That's because Page is paranoid [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/84922]. I wouldn't hold your breath on ever seeing it. I'd rather see Dire Straits anyway - hopefully they'll be willing to sell out for their fans someday.

Otherwise, it's an awesome set of tracks. Those, plus the DLC being cross-compatible, plus being able to import the tracks from RB1 make this upgrade a no-brainer. It's almost as if Harmonix thinks that by not treating us like wallets with legs they might earn our respect.

Good on page for not selling the rights to his songs. You wanna play stairway you gotta do it the hardway, otherwise its more like a stairlift to heaven.

An announcement where owners of the original could somehow port the RB songs into RB2 would be great... that's the only thing missing in my opinion.

...no it's not. Harmonix have announced that for a small fee you will be able to port all of the songs from RB into RB2. In addition, if you never bought RB then all of it's songs will be available for free download from the Music Store. Almost makes me wish that I'd never bought the original. Almost
