Even though it is all agreeable that the Rock Band hardware was the delicious improvement of the tiny, ridiculously toy-like guitar controllers from Guitar hero 1-3 and, of course, the addition of the ensemble that was the sugar honey dreams of all, but just the other day, I realized some fatal mistakes with the hardware.

First off, the lefty mode. Yes, the lefty mode is, ladies and gentleman, the most crippling issue of the Rock band hardware. This is so because, when required to flip around the Fender Stratocaster controller, the sense of comfortability we had playing it righty mode is gone, not to mention that the buttons and the D-Pad are now ON TOP of your hadn, if you picture what I mean. It can also be rather amusing watching someone who has played Righty all their lives stick to the "highest note counts" rule and and to not realize that what counts here is the fact that the whole thing is inverted. Thus proven that the guitar on lefty mode cripples players, it is only fair to mention that the drums on lefty mode make the life ever so much easier for someone who is used to playing on righty, and by this I mean that the pads that are meant to be played are much more accessible in all means. Unfortunately, there is no lefty mode on the microphone, although if it did, it probably would mean that the player has to sing with his left lung air, or his left side of the tongue, or something.
On the other hand, I have to comment on some issues the guitar controller has basic to her. Just the whammy bar is too large. We're meant to use it to reduce the pitch of the notes, not as a screwdriver. Besides, and despite how much I hate to say this, Activision won with their second set of fret buttons, as I have to believe that Harmonix's idea was "we will give the playera securing asset that will make him think he's safe with that monstruously complicated solo on Train kept a rollin', but in truth, it will only cripple him more" *Manic Laughter*
And it is true. And you know it.
Well, these are my statements, and I'd like you to comment any others. be it personal experiences or just random stupidity.
