rock band question

I have Rock band 1 and Rock band 2 for the 360. How do I get the Rock Band 1 songlist added to Rockband 2?

Ok, make sure your xbox is connected to the internet, and it should get an update that will allow you to export from the main menu. Once you select that it'll ask you to put in a password which you should have gotten when you bought rock band 2. You then pay $5 for the exporting fee and the rest should do itself.

Um, what?

The 'password' you get with RB2 is to download the 20 free songs, it has absolutely nothing to do with exporting the songs from the RB1 disc... you just load up RB1, go to 'Export Disc' under the Extras menu and buy the download key when the Marketplace thing comes up. I'm not aware of this having changed since I did it.
