This game is out today, are any of you going to pick it up. I know Konami's been around for a while in the music game business (because Dance Dance Revolution was really the first of this kind of game). Looks pretty cool and I think the expanded drum set is a really nice addition.

This game hasn't even had any word of a release date for the UK, I've already waited an extra year for Rock Band 1 to get released. This game looks like nothing new or exciting. So we have Guitar Hero which then the orginal devs went off to create Rock band with some other people still working on Guitar Hero. Then Konami decided they wanted to be a cool kid again, so they release this.

"The most realistic drum peripheral on the market, created by real musicians for an overall hard hitting experience " is the only thing I could find appealing about it. Even then it's pretty much press hype.

Bah, another cash-in on Guitar Hero's sucess, it looks like crap.

This one has an expanded drum set, which is a nice perk. The other ones I've found too basic to this point..drums is IMO the coolest part so I'm glad I can go all Dave Grohl on the drums..

Have any of you picked this game up and played it? If so what do you think?

I think it's getting ratings that are too low, having a pretty unique (and quality) track list is a huge draw for me and makes the game very fun to play.

Yeah, maybe those reviews are done by the devil, but they say this game barely has any master tracks. And the covers are bad. So yeah, this game sucks definitely more than Rock Band (1 and 2) and GH: World Tour. Even if I see the miracle of Rock Band 2 (it still costs as much as Scrooge McDuck has money) then if I win a lottery, maybe I will try this game out, y' know, for shits and giggles.

Regardless, I'm going to be checking it out. It's got songs that aren't in any other game and the drums set is far and away better than any other ones out there which I think deserves a play.
