I like how Rockstar are talking up how LA Noire could signify a new direction for them and all that when they're not even the lead studio on the sodding game.

I think they mean a game with true consequence. You're going to have guns & you can threaten people/NPCs with them, but not kill insane loads of people like you do in games like GTA... hell maybe kill 1 or 2 guys... 3 at most.

This could be good, though I doubt they'd make a habit of it. What I find odd is that they still release all this video of gun fights for a game that is supposed to have sparse use of the gun in your holster. This is starting to shake my trust that the game will deliver what it promises.

Probably the same reason Inglorious Basterds was marketed almost as an action movie, when it really was not. In other words: MONEEEYYY!

I thought they already made Rockstar Games Presents: Table Tennis? And Bully didn't have any guns, as far as I can remember. Unless there's some DLC or mod I don't knnow about.
