How the Hell is RDR not coming out to PC?! That game would be fantastic on PC! His tone there is kinda rude to be trying to appease the fan base. I think they just don't want our money, guys. That's the only explanation that makes any sense.

Rockstar loves the PC, that's why they made GTA IV one of the shittiest ports in the history of shitty ports. If you don't give a shit about the PC gaming community at the very least say so instead of masking your bullshit using PR talk.
Rockstar is as fitting as their name, came with a great bang, went out like someone who didn't want to die, constantly clinging to fake hope. Seriously, their just shit now, can't even do their series as intended anymore.

Such a shame Loyal Max payne fans won't like the third installment. La Noire Disappoints. The next GTA all though it will look stunning will be more of the same. (sadly will still probably sell like cupcakes.)

Rockstar became big on PC, and even bigger on the console. Openworld/sandbox games will be more boring the future just because besides Missions roaming around will become more tedious. Randomness will just become more harder to keep it interesting.

RDR on PC just would love to see that there it would really shine.

Dear Rockstar, I'm sorry but we've moved on, we had some great times together, but you've been an abusive lover. You are just another in a line that says all the sweet words that we want to hear but then you go and cheat on us and make us wait and wait for you. And when you finally come you're too tired to care and we're left disappointed. It's over Rockstar, please don't call us.

P.S. If you see Lionhead or Rocksteady tell them to please stop calling too, and they can take back their stuff, I'll leave it on the lawn.
Why Rocksteady? Arkham City looks like it will be awesome, and Arkham Asylum was great too.

If Rockstar really cared about the PC gamers, they would of chosen the PC as well as a platform for their latest releases(RDR being one of the examples).

"We should be happy with what we get" is really an insulting reply.

Yeah, love you too Rockstar, but don't hold your breath for my money.

RDR not viable on a PC? That's the stupidest thing I've heard in a while.

I am getting the feeling they might just have some hidden content in red dead redemption. Something that is to annoying to remove and that they fear of being unleashed.
Yea. I'm imagining that if it did end up on the pc, the code would reveal a Hot Postum minigame or something like that.

I'm guessing that scheme of auctioning off game content as pre-order "bonuses" to different retailers didn't work too well for them. Good, maybe they wont try that obnoxious crap again.

Rockstar Loves the PC... for checking email and stuff.

Both Batman games were delayed in order to ensure that they were "proper PC ports, and to be optimized for the PC". This seems to be the go to excuse for so many developers, and their supposed game that has been optimized for the PC ends up being a clunky and buggy port.
Rocksteady just another in a long line of developers who see PC gamers as pirates so they artificially push back the game a month or more so they can sell as many copies to the consoles as they can.
And further proof that they didn't actually change anything, the leaked version (that was leaked right before the console release) of Asylum was pretty much the same as the version that came out over a month later.

This is the sort of fan treatment I remember for future releases. Don't fret Rockstar Games, there are other studios who'll accept my money!

Given the quality of a lot of their ports, I'd just as soon they not give the PC any more love. That's not a healthy kind of love, dude.

Well, to be fair, its their time and money, I think it'd be far more rude to suggest that they can't decide what to do with it.
Telling the customers that is usually bad PR.

Yes, it's their right to do so.

No, it's not smart at all.

How about they just make a sequel to Oni, you know, a good game.

I kid, I kid.

But seriously, I haven't liked a single Rockstar open world game.

Bored of Rockstar now. Rather than business speak it would have been interesting for them to actually level with us about why this is not happening and what makes RDR different to LA Noir. Is it technical issues with porting the engine (doubtful), having to include extra control methods. More likely the reason is that they don't feel the return is enough to justify the expense of porting. Which is odd as I would have rather brought RDR than LA Noire.

I just hope it is not that their idea of a worth while return is something ridiculous because they are being greedy. I don't think it is likely that you would make a loss, it's just everyone compares returns to consoles returns today. The only thing that should stop something being ported is if there is a real risk of it making a loss otherwise why turn down profit? Or unless you have very low programming resources and would rather have them working on a more profitable consoles title than a port....

Exactly.

I used to love Rockstar, but now i hate them with a passion. They built their franchise up purely from the support of the PC community. Then the moment they have established their company, they show themselves for the greedy, superficial bastards they are by spitting in the face of us PC gamers.

Now we PC gamers only get the scraps, essentially the leftovers after consoles have been prioritized, broken underdeveloped ports, which is a damn insult. It used to be about creating quality games, now it's just about seeing how many gullible, naive people will buy into the shit that is Console gaming, which has ultimately ruined the PC gaming scene.

Since the birth of Xbox and Playstaion, the level of expectations for games have been dramatically lowered, and that's fine for developers, because they know they can churn out obnoxious, linear clone copies and the console gamers will happily gobble it all up.

I find it really sad that the best PC games are now 10 years old, and personally i prefer to play them as opposed to this new flood of cheap generic crap, which is purely marketed and designed for casual gamers, that quite frankly woulden't know a good game if bit them on the ass.

So thanks for denying me my most anticipated game Rockstar. Congratulations, you are soon becoming one, if not the most hated developing parties on the scene today. To me Rockstar's image represents nothing but backstabbing greediness, you guys are rancid.
